ThermoBLOCK
Thermal Coagulation Ablation Probe Fistula & Hemorrohoids
Minimally Invasive Interventions. Hemorrhoids and Anal Fistula Ablation, Fast and safe treatment for comfortable life. Due to the radiofrequency, thermal energy is generated; the tip of the electrode, the distal part, applies energy to the haemorrhoidal tissue where it is converted into heat.

Hemorrhoids and Anal Fistula Ablation
Fast and Safe Treatment for Comfortable Life
Due to the radiofrequency, thermal energy is generated; the tip of the electrode, the distal part, applies energy to the haemorrhoidal tissue where it is converted into heat.
The Thermoblock Bipolar RF Ablation Systems probe is a sterile, single-use disposable, packed in separate laminated sterile packaging. The tip of the probe has a length of 10 cm with a 2 cm active tip and effective intervention with a catheter pen holder. Capable of providing easy invasive procedure with 18 gauge (1,3 mm) catheter probe size. Do not re-sterilize because this leads to a deterioration of the device’s performance. Due to the radiofrequency, thermal energy is generated; the tip of the electrode, the distal part, applies energy to the haemorrhoidal tissue where it is converted into heat.
Detailed specifications
Radiofrequency Ablation systems are technologies where electromagnetic radio wawes between 3 KHz and 300 GHz generate selective and controlled heat in tissues with alternating current.
These systems which have been used in many areas in recent years , radiate energy to the tissues with an " active electrode" and a " passive-return electrode" where the current is returned. when applied through a catheter, it is RF ablation catheter
RF ablation is the intervention to the tumor or dysfunction tissues with hear produces from medium frequency alternating current
RF ablation can usually be applied outpatients of same day admissions using local anesthetics or mild sedation anesthesia.
The advantage of rf current is that is does not cause significant tissue damage around the applied area.
It is preferred as an effective treatment modality in liver and pancreatic cancers and proctology like hemorrhoids, anal fistula, anal fissure, sinus pilonidalis, hypertrophic anal papila.
HemoBLOCK Bipolar RF Ablation System Advantages
Rate of long-term therapeutic benefit (no recurrence) at 20 weeks follow-up is 96%
Radiofrequency ablation applications used in the treatment of hemorrhoids are easy and minimally invasive interventions which have low complication rate and are superior to conventional methods.
- In this procedure, bleeding control is quite good and the procedure is painless.
- Radiofrequency ablation treatments are superior procedures with short hospital stay.
- Local and spinal anesthesia are suitable and sufficient for the procedure.
- Radiofrequency ablation treatments are procedures which are successful even in advanced stage (stage 3, 4) hemorrhoids and which increase the comfort of the patient.
- In these treatments, edema control is easy to manage.
- Radiofrequency ablation treatments provide quick return to work.
- Adjustable energy generation between 0 - 30 W
- Maximum 30 W adjustable power generation for hemorrhoid catheter owing to catheter recognition feature
- Easy transportation owing to its ergonomic design
- Controlled power generation with foot pedal system
- 4 MHz operating frequency
Capable of providing easy invasive procedure with 18 gauge (1,024 mm) catheter probe size
Capable of providing maximum control, effective intervention with catheter pen holder and 10 cm probe length
Minimum side effect, maximum heat generation owing to catheter probe with 2 cm active tip
Effective local application without damaging the surrounding tissues with bipolar radiofrequency ablation system
FistulaBLOCK Bipolar RF Ablation System Advantages
Radiofrequency fistulatomy in anal fistula the success rate is 96.3% with this system, which does not require large incisions and which leads to less tissue destruction, pain is very low. Since energy penetration can be controlled in the procedure, it does not cause tissue necrosis and still allows using all other treatment options.
It provides easy tissue excision and minimal bleeding occurs. The success rate of this method, which can be used in deep and difficult fistulas, is 96,3%. Transsphincteric and intersphincteric anal fistulas are particularly recommeded method.
The low temperature used in the procedure and the short time spent on clotting will shorten the duration of the prosedure and speed up wound healing. This provides shorter hospital stay. Less pain post-op, early return to normal life, rapid healing of the wound and low recurrence rates and attained.
This procedure is significantly advantageous compared to conventional fistulotomy in terms of less blood loss and rapid healing of wounds.
- Adjustable energy generation between 0 - 60 W
- Maximum 60 W adjustable power generation for hemorrhoid catheter owing to catheter recognition feature
- Easy transportation owing to its ergonomic design
- Controlled power generation with foot pedal system
- 4 MHz operating frequency
- Capable of providing flexible intervention from difficult angles owing to flexible catheter probe
- Effective local application without damaging the surrounding tissues with bipolar radiofrequency ablation system
